pdf2md converts your documents with no account and no sign-up. Here is, plainly, what happens to your data.
Files you upload
The uploaded document is only used to produce its Markdown version. It is deleted from the server as soon as the conversion ends.
Retention period
The Markdown and the extracted images are kept for one hour at most, so that you can download them, then erased automatically. The result link then stops working.
Cookies and tracking
The site shows no advertising and uses no analytics tool. A single technical cookie may remember the language you chose.
Technical data
Your IP address is used temporarily to limit abuse (number of conversions per minute) and may appear in the server's technical logs. It is never linked to the content of your documents.
